Stepping into the Spotlight: Celebrating My Fourth ‘Image of the Day’
I’m back with more exciting news that’s got me grinning from ear to ear: I’ve had another photograph selected as ‘Image of the Day’ by The Guild of Photographers! This makes it the fourth image of mine to receive this fabulous honour, and the thrill of being recognised never gets old.
This particular image is one I’m incredibly proud of, taken at the enchanting wedding of Lauren and Alex earlier this year. The photo also bagged an award back in June, adding an extra layer of pride to this recognition. It captures a truly magical moment as Lauren makes her grand entrance to the ceremony, descending the majestic staircase at Allerton Castle.
There’s something about a grand staircase that adds an air of drama and elegance to any occasion, but Lauren’s graceful presence took it to a whole new level. It was one of those moments where everything aligns perfectly – the setting, the light, and the emotion – and I was there to capture it.
I want to thank The Guild of Photographers for this recognition and Lauren and Alex for allowing me to be part of their beautiful day. Moments like these are what I live for as a photographer – capturing the fleeting, the beautiful, and the unforgettable.
