Hello, and welcome to my corner of the web! I’m Dale, the owner and lead photographer at Dale Turner Photography. I’m a wedding photographer with a passion for capturing the essence of your special day. Originally from the charming town of Brighouse in West Yorkshire, my journey brought me to Goole, East Yorkshire, thanks to the love of my life and now wife, Sarah.

My journey with photography began at the tender age of four when I received my first camera. The world through a lens has always fascinated me, but it wasn’t until a close friend entrusted me with photographing their wedding that I realised my true calling. Initially hesitant, I soon found myself utterly captivated by the storytelling aspect of wedding photography, dedicating my life to mastering this beautiful craft.

Since starting my business in 2008, I’ve had the privilege of capturing over 700 weddings, mainly across the Yorkshire region but also covering most of the UK and even locations throughout Europe. Though following a familiar script, each wedding unfolds with its own unique magic, which keeps me excited before each event.

I pride myself on delivering exceptional quality and service, as reflected in over 100 Google and Facebook reviews. My approach is to blend into the background, capturing candid moments while also ensuring those posed shots are just perfect.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll often find me lacing up my running shoes for a morning jog. Much like photography, running has become a significant part of my life, offering me a different kind of freedom and perspective. Running is not just about physical fitness; it’s a mental escape, a time to clear my mind and, paradoxically, to focus.
