We contacted Dale pretty last minute for our wedding in August and luckily for us he was available. We'd seen some of his work online and it seemed he was exactly what we were looking for. We only had a small wedding and he was really accommodating and super responsive.
During the day he was incredibly professional and patient and made us feel comfortable throughout.
We got the photos back yesterday (only had to wait just over a week) and we are absolutely blown away. They are all amazing and really capture the day. I cannot stop looking at them. Thank you so much Dale. If you're looking for a wedding photographer I would 100% recommend.

Dale has been amazing, from first email/phone call Dale found a package that was right for our wedding day and put me at ease from day one. Firstly, we wholeheartedly recommend Dale to anyone and everyone who needs a wedding or events photographer. He was perfect.
From the first call we had a year before the wedding, to the prep calls before and the day itself, Dale was fantastic.
My wife and I aren't often one for photos and before we spoke to Dale, we were nervous for this part of the day. But we knew after that first call we would be so comfortable with him and we were excited, knowing he completely understood what we wanted.
From the preparation photos for the Grooms party, the bridal preparation, group photos and Dale stealing us away for peaceful and scenic photos during the day, he was simply amazing. He was kind, understanding and so attentive. He took photos of all the little details that will make for amazing photos and will truly document the entire day.
Having seen the initial sneak peak photos just days after the wedding, we adore them and can't wait for the rest. All our guests spoke glowingly of Dale too and he really went the extra mile, in essence giving my cousins their own scenic photoshoot too!

Dale came in clutch and helped me with a surprise proposal during the very busy Christmas period. He was extremely quick in responding and easy to communicate with.
He set up a call at a time that suited me (discretion was necessary) and we talked through a game plan for the surprise proposal.
On the day itself Dale gave me a heads up that he was at the agreed location. This was great as it put my mind at ease.
Dale captured the moments perfectly and we are absolutely thrilled with the results. There were a few people around the location we had chosen, but he done an excellent job of editing and you would not know that there were people around.
From there we let Dale take the wheel in terms of shooting around the city of York. All the photos and locations were great and came in an online folder which we can share directly with friends and family. Dale also stayed longer than originally agreed to get some extra shots in.
Overall Dale was a pleasure to work with and I’d recommend him to anyone a thousand times over. A really lovely guy and a great photographer.

Absolutely amazing! Dale captured every special moment beautifully and made us feel so comfortable throughout the day. Dale slipped into the background of the wedding, allowing us and all the guests to simply enjoy ourselves and forget there was a camera there, whilst never missing a moment to capture the perfect photo.
Throughout the shoots & album creation, Dale had the perfect blend of allowing us to customize everything we wanted while providing expert recommendations which only someone of Dales calibre & experience could provide. Leaving us with world class keepsakes and photos to last a lifetime.
Our wedding album is crafted to the highest standards, offering a level of quality and elegance unlike anything we’ve seen from friends or families albums. It’s a truly unique and luxurious product that beautifully tells the story of our special day.
We also had an engagement shoot with Dale who suggested we brought our dog along with us. This is not something he advertises but yet again he has managed to capture some perfect shots of our furry friend. More memories and keepsakes that we will treasure forever.

Dale recently provided photography for me and my wife's wedding and the two of us could not have been any happier with the service, both on the day and leading up to it. Dale has always been responsive, communicative, and clear with what we could expect from his service, which gave us both peace of mind as we were coordinating a lot of details for the big day. This was almost as important as the finished product, as not having to worry about the photography was a weight off both of our shoulders. This professionalism can be seen in the final product, which is excellent (very high resolution photos). We got married in June, and Dale was definitely one of the best choices we could have made for our day. From initial contact, to the lead up, to the day itself, and afterwards, Dale's communication has been second to none. Seriously, you can tell that Dale loves what he does and really cares about your needs, and wants you to have the best experience and final products. He makes sure you are comfortable at all times. Nothing is forced, it's all about what we wanted at all times. On top of this his attention to detail is outstanding. From making sure we were in the right position, even down to finger placements to make the perfect photos. On this big day he is around but not intruding. Many guests said they didn't even realise he was there at points. Like a ninja photographer! Dale made the whole process stress free. We really did not need to think about a thing! The final photos we got are just amazing. Really helps us relive our big day. Everything is personalised! A final note is that he is just the friendliest person ever. There isn't a conversation we had that we did not come away happy. If you're going through option paralysis and don't know who to pick... Pick Dale. You won't be disappointed! :)

We got married 4 weeks ago and Dale was our photographer, who may I add stepped in very very last minute as our original photographer let us down. He was very thorough, made sure we had a phone call to talk through who we wanted photos with from our wedding party. Dale arrived early, he was very friendly and made me feel at ease straight away… I don’t like having my photo taken in all honesty but Dale made it feel so easy!
He was very patient and just made sure we were happy with having photos taken throughout the day and if he had any ideas for a good photo he would run it by us first to make sure we were happy with it.
Dale captured the day perfectly, we are over the moon with our photos and at such a bargain price too! Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Where to even start ?!
Dale is just on another level. THE best photographer going ! If anyone is looking for a photographer, I really can’t recommend Dale enough.
Before the big day, Dale was so thorough about what we wanted capturing. He even visited the church as to where he could capture the best shots.
He was also really quick to respond to any emails!
The big day came and the weather, was being very British 🌧️ , so we had to think about where we could get the shots we wanted.
Dale was quick thinking, and captured not only the images we wanted, but he got every little detail that told our wedding day.

From start to finish of wedding planning, Dale was a total pleasure to work with - nothing is ever too much and he was even happy to advise on other elements of the day that I hadn’t considered i.e. wedding insurance. He has made the experience of wedding planning so much easier. Dale’s friendly and professional attitude, prompt responses and attention to detail could almost fool you into believing your wedding is the only wedding he’s dealing with, especially when ours was during the busy wedding season!
On the day, Dale made not just us but all the guests feel completely relaxed, and got some amazing natural shots of everyone - when he wasn’t taking official photos, you barely noticed he was there snapping away. During the group photos, he was so creative with his ideas and when he overheard one of the guests say a drone would be a good idea for the group photo, he went straight to his bag and got one out!
There were some challenges with photo taking due to the glare of the sun and wind gusts, but you would never know from the photos - he captured the whole day absolutely perfectly and we could not recommend him enough. Thank you Dale!

Myself and my wife hired Dale for our wedding in September 2018 and can't thank him enough for the beautiful photographs taken. He really did capture every moment perfectly and we have our wedding album proudly on display.
From our very first phone enquiry he was professional, considerate, replied promptly to all email queries and nothing was too much trouble for him.
We booked a package which included a pre-wedding photo shoot in our local park where we ran through some different shots ideas and poses so that there was less time wasted on our big day and we got some lovely couple and family shots from this. We also provided Dale with a list of formal shots we wanted taking and he organised our family and friends on the day to take the pressure off us.
Dale provides varying options and good value for money with the package deals he offers and we would highly recommend him to anyone looking to book a photographer for any occasion.

We have used Dale for a number of family portraits over the years and we have always had a wonderful experience and fantastic pictures at the end of the process which is obviously the most important element! Dale is brilliant with young children (and animals!) and is prepared to spend the required amount of time to ensure the perfect shot is achieved, and gives clear and consistent instructions while coming up with inventive ideas for the best outcome. We would never consider using another professional photographer, and would recommend his services in a heartbeat.

Dale has been fantastic throughout our whole wedding experience and an experience it certainly was due to Covid changing our plans practically every week but Dale was still prepared to do whatever it took to make our day special.
We managed to have our wedding in Dec 2020 but very very small and Dale did everything he possibly could to make our day extra special and took some fantastic pictures for our album.
We are doing the whole thing again this year to enable us to share our special day with all our family and friends and Dale was our first phone call to make sure he was free on our second wedding date as I’m positive nobody could possibly compare with his professionalism, empathy and kindness that all brides need on their special day and obviously not forgetting the amazing, bespoke pictures he produces when it’s all over.

Fantastic photographer, made our wedding and both my children’s newborn shoots perfect.
He was on hand anytime throughout my wedding and made sure it was well planned before the big day. We had a pre wedding photo shoot, and lots of discussion on what type of photos etc we wanted. Dale made sure he captured everything we asked for and more, often we hardly knew he was there. Dale was with us through the whole day and evening, he got some beautiful shots of our church and location, he captured the sunset and knew exactly how to get the perfect setting.
Dale also photographed both my children for their newborn shoots. The photos are exactly what we wanted and captured such a special moment in time for us. We would happily recommend and use Dale again anytime.

We used Dale for our wedding photography and were thrilled with the results. From the first point of contact, Dale was friendly and professional. We arranged a pre-wedding shoot and Dale was patient and made us both feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. On the wedding day, Dale was fantastic at getting images from different angles and he ensured that all the photographs we requested were taken. He blended into the wedding, subtly taking photos & making sure all guests were included. Before leaving, he checked if there were any other images we’d like.
