A Socially Distanced Wedding…

Stephanie and Tom had to postpone their wedding from April due to you-know-what. That didn’t stop them planning and preparing for an amazing October wedding at The York Pavilion Hotel. The staff were excellent and even with the current restrictions the day went smoothly and the happy couple loved every minute of their special day.

We started early for the bridal preparation, with stylists and myself wearing the appropriate PPE. Then onto the Pavilion for the wedding ceremony. Tom and his groomsmen arriving in style, having borrowed a couple of supercars from one of his friends – as you do!

A limited number of wedding guests, socially distanced throughout the ceremony didn’t affect the atmosphere. The wedding vibe was strong and Stephanie looked beautiful as she made her way down the aisle to meet her husband soon-to-be.

We were blessed with fine weather so we could spend time outside in the fresh October air for the happy couples wedding portraits, along with the obligatory ‘Covid Mask Picture’ thrown in for good measure.

Deep into the afternoon, after sunset we were out again for some twilight photography. The York Pavilion, in North Yorkshire, offers lots of photographic opportunities both inside and out, when the weather is good we try and spend more time outside where we can be super-creative with the light and capture some stunning wedding pictures.

Thank you Stephanie and Tom for trusting me to capture your special day, especially in these strange times.

Are they Wedding-Supercars or Super-Wedding-Cars? I don’t know what to call them…
