Covid Won’t Stop Us…
One of the very few weddings in 2020 that didn’t get postponed or re-arranged to another date due to Covid. Kyla and John were determined to tie the knot, no matter what!
With their guest list out of the window due to the pandemic, the decision was made to have a smaller wedding event now and have a much bigger day next year when things are back to some normality. This way, they can have a lovely intimate wedding now and have the big wedding with all the trimmings they’ve always dreamed of as well with no social distancing at a later date.
Whitley Hall was the perfect backdrop, and the Christmas decorations made the day even more magical, a real fairytale Christmas wedding. The staff were excellent, even with the current restrictions they ensured that the wedding went smoothly while maintaining social distancing measures to keep us all safe.
The South Yorkshire weather was a little unsettled during the wedding ceremony, but soon after, we had a break in the rain which allowed us to dash outside and get a few bride and groom pictures. Fingers crossed for better weather next year when we have “Kyla & John – Take Two”.
