A Sun-Kissed Wedding Day: Emma & Andrew’s Celebration at St. Mary’s & The Parsonage
As a North Yorkshire wedding photographer, I’ve had the privilege to capture countless memorable moments, but Emma and Andrew’s wedding day was indeed one for the books. Set against the picturesque backdrop of St. Mary’s Church in Carlton and The Parsonage in Escrick, their celebration was bathed in glorious sunshine, providing the perfect setting for their beautiful day.
This is an award-wedding photograph, more details here.
The morning air was filled with anticipation as I arrived at St. Mary’s Church. The historic beauty of the venue, coupled with the guests’ excitement, created a heartwarming and exhilarating atmosphere. As Emma walked down the aisle, the look of love and adoration in Andrew’s eyes was a moment I knew I had to capture perfectly. Their vows were a beautiful testament to their journey and the life they were about to embark upon together.
Following the ceremony, the celebration moved to The Parsonage in Escrick, where the gardens were in full bloom under the sunny sky. Here, we could take full advantage of the day’s light to capture a series of stunning photographs. Emma, Andrew, and their guests’ joy and love were palpable, filling every frame with warmth and happiness.
One of the day’s highlights was utilising my drone to capture unique perspectives of the wedding party. The group photo, taken from above, provided a spectacular view of the assembled guests, framing them within the lush greenery of The Parsonage’s gardens. But it was the image of Emma and Andrew lying on the grass that genuinely took my breath away. This shot, captured with the drone, showcased the couple’s adventurous spirit and their willingness to embrace fun and unconventional moments on their special day.
Lying there on the grass, Emma and Andrew seemed to be in their own world, surrounded by nature and entirely at peace. These moments, frozen in time, remind me why I love my job so much.
As the day turned into evening, the celebrations continued with heartfelt speeches, laughter, and dancing. Every moment was a reflection of Emma and Andrew’s personalities and their deep bond with each other and their families.
Capturing Emma and Andrew’s wedding day was an honour. From the sacred vows at St. Mary’s Church to the laughter and love at The Parsonage, every moment was a celebration of their journey together. As they start this new chapter, I’m grateful to have been a part of their day, capturing memories that will last a lifetime.
Their wedding was a beautiful reminder of the power of love and the joy of sharing your life with your best friend. Congratulations, Emma and Andrew! May your life together be as sunny and joyful as your wedding day.
