Today, I’d like to take a moment to answer a question I often get asked: “How would you describe your photography style?”

It’s a difficult question to answer, as my style has evolved over the years. But if I had to put it into words, I’d describe my photography as natural, evocative, and profoundly personal. I have a deep-rooted passion for documenting the true essence of the moment, seeking out genuine emotions and interactions, and capturing them in a way that’s both truthful and artistically appealing.

My style is largely photojournalistic. I love blending into the background on your special day, observing and capturing spontaneous, intimate moments you’ll want to remember forever. Every smile, every tear, every loving glance – these are the moments that tell the real story of your wedding day, and these are the moments that I aim to capture.

Even though my approach leans heavily on candid and photojournalistic methods, there are certainly times when I guide the couple into gentle poses to create stunning portraits. I have a soft spot for the quiet, intimate moments a couple shares – where their love for each other shines bright. In these moments, I gently direct them into natural and comfortable poses, emphasizing their unique connection. It’s not about forced smiles or stiff poses; it’s about subtly arranging the scene and stepping back to let the couple’s natural chemistry take over. The result is a beautiful, organically composed photograph that feels personal and timeless, capturing the essence of their love on their special day.
